My creative energy has never been constrained in one avenue.
I have pushed myself to explore many medias and I hope my website affords you a glimpse at some of the work I have done. Please look through it’s pages and email me with any feedback.

AS A PAINTER
I have always painted. As the last child of seven in a single parent family painting provided me with a voice. Through creative expression I found solitude and my identity.
The images used in my paintings vary, but all come from a very personal aspect of myself. Some of my paintings are demanding and unyielding while others are soft and contemplative. I find a constant stimulation and continual challenge in my work as I oscillate between extremes, both in style and subject matter. I enjoy having the ability to move from abstraction and expressionism to traditional realism. When I paint abstraction I have little restraint and just relax and let the brush go. Painting still life and landscapes show me how I view the world around me; I become more contemplative and less gregarious. My love for dogs has moved me into dog portraiture. I find my canine companions to be beautiful and inspiring subjects.
